VE Day

Today Year 5 walked into Eastwood to be part of the VE Day celebrations and service.
It was lovely to go into the community and remember those we lost and to celebrate Victory in Europe!

Beauvale Pilgrimage

KS2 had a lovely pilgrimage to Beauvale Priory on Tuesday. We were extremely impressed with how well all the children represented our school and marked our annual feast day.
Well done to Y3,5 and 6.
KS1 also had a lovely afternoon completing their pilgrimage around school too.

Woodland Path Opening

Our woodland path is now officially open!!
Well done to all the children who walked around the path for our sponsored walk today.
We had the eldest and youngest member of the school cut the ribbon to start the event.
The final total raised as well as how many miles completed will be shared next week as well as prizes and awards.
A big thank you also goes to McNeil’s Construction who built our path.
Have a lovely weekend

The PTA.

Thank you from the PTA

A huge thank you for the recent support we’ve had towards our PTA.

We have a few exciting annoucements coming up soon for things we’re putting into place at school. For this to happen, we have relied on the fundraising efforts in school as well as donations from local businesses and people who help us do what we do.

Thank you to Virgin Media and O2 via Mr Smith who raised £250 towards our choir.

Thank you to NG Bailey Projects who have also recently donated money.

We have also received some anonymous donations which we would also like to express our gratitude for.

We continue to thank and give a shout out to anyone who supports our charity, which in doing so, supports all the children in school.

Thank you

Young Voices

We are immensely proud of our choir children who worked so hard to learn all the songs and performed so wonderfully taking part in Young Voices at Sheffield Utilita Arena!

We all had the best time – and our warmest thanks goes to so many kind and dedicated people to gift this experience to our choir. Special mentions go to: Miss Hickling for this fantastic idea of YV choir and all her hard work in supporting the choir in many ways that she does; Miss Leith for her time, endless kindness and support in leading the choir; Ms Pierrepont for providing the choir with tasty treats; our parent helpers on the trip; all the people – parents and parishioners – involved in the fundraisers for the trip and Mrs Smith who has started the choir and led the team to this fantastic opportunity.

Thank you to everyone involved, the children had the most amazing opportunity and loved every second of it. Thank you ❤️

Merry Christmas

From all of us at the Priory, we want to wish every a happy Christmas and lovely New Year.

We hope you all have a restful break and we’ll see you all back to school on Monday 6th January 2025.

EYFS and KS1 Nativity

Wow! What a fantastic job EYFS and KS1 did at putting on The Nativity over this last week. From everyone who watched, we were really impressed with how the children performed and the hard work and practise that has gone into the performances on show!

Well done to all for sharing the story of Christmas for everyone to see.
