Well done to all of KS2 at District Sports today. You showed great determination, sportsmanship and perseverence in all the events you competed in. The Priory was proudly represented. We had a number of 2nd and 3rd places from the finals to also celebrate across the track and field events.

Wow, what a day Priory! I think you can all agree that we had a fantastic sports day! We could all see lots of happy faces, perseverance and dedication to the different sports! ☺️
It was so lovely to see you all having a go today and working as teams to get as many points for your house as possible! 💪🏼

The winning houses were:
KS1- St Robert Lawrence
KS2- St John Houghton

Thank you so much to all the parents, once again, for coming to support and cheer on the children! 👏🏼
We hope you had a brilliant time!

Diversity Mass

We held a brilliant Diversity Mass yesterday with the whole school in attendance.

We also presented the winners of the Queen’s Jubilee bunting.

It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together and to celebrate all our uniqueness!!

Girls football

Priory 7
Horsendale 1

A fantastic win for the girls tonight. Battled really hard in very warm conditions. They scored some excellent team goals and played really well.

Well done Girls ⚽️💪🏼🏆

Mental health

It great to welcome the mental health team into the Priory today. They visited Y6 to undertake some transition work before a workshop for parents, followed by staff this evening. It was able to give everyone involved an insightful perspective into mental health.

Jubilee

We had a lovely afternoon celebration the Queen’s 70th Jubilee – thank you to everyone for your support and to the PTA for their organisation and effort!

Marian Mass

Yesterday, the entire school went to Church to attend Marian Mass. Afterwards, Y5 took all the flowers that were donated to the church to the local care homes. Thank you to everyone to the donations and to Y5 for setting such good examples whilst in the local community.

Y6 Beaumanor

Y6 have had a brilliant end to this half term on their residential to Beaumanor. The 3 days were filled with fun and activities and we’ve certainly made memories we’ll always remember!!

Beauvale Priory Art

Y6 recently visited Beauvale Priory. As part of their field trip, they completed a sketch and water colour of the ruins. They’ve done such an amazing job. Keep a look out for these around our school.
