Eastwood Mayor Visit
Eastwood Mayor came into Y6 today to give prizes for the Christmas cards made for local care homes!! Thank you for the visit and we hope the residents in our local area are filled with joy when they receive our cards.
Christmas Fair
What a fantastic Christmas fair today. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us and enjoyed the festivities!!

Christmas Craft Exhibition
A huge thank you to everyone who also came to the Christmas craft fair at the end of the day!! It was a huge success and it’s been so nice to welcome you all back into our school. Thank you again to the PTA for their continued support and organising these events!!

Y5/6 Cross Country
England Win!!
Y5/6 began our World Cup day by competing in our own mini World Cup this morning, before this afternoon coming together as a school to watch England play 🏆 Thank you to the PTA for organising such a fun day and everyone’s support from home!!
We had a great afternoon, we hope children have come home and shared this with you!!
Timestable Rockstars
Well done to each class who participated with the maths competition. Walsingham managed to be 145 out of 28,411 classes that took part.
As a school we came 137 out of the 4,000 schools taking part.
Our KS2 timestables rockstar winners per class.
Austin won in York class with 1,925 points.
Max in Assisi class with 2,998 points.
Stanley in Lourdes class with 5,564 points.
Alex in Walsingham class with 6,966 points.
Walsingham was the winning class.
Well done to everyone involved and your dedication. We will continue to use timetable rockstars in school and encourage you to do so at home as well!
Remembrance Mass
Y5/6 led a Remembrance Mass in school this morning. It was a lovely service remembering those we’ve lost – Father Paul particularly commented on how well everyone did.
