Goodbye and good luck Y6
Today we said goodbye and good luck to Y6 as they move onto secondary. We wish them every success as they move onto their next adventures.
Thank you Mr Harrison and Mrs Smith
Yesterday, we attended our end of year mass with Canon Paul. During the service, we said a huge thank you and sad farewell to Mr Harrison and Mrs Smith who will be leaving us at the end of the year. We thank them for everything they’ve contributed to our school over the many years they’ve been at the Priory and wish them luck as Mr Harrison moves on and Mrs Smith retires. Good luck and we’ll miss you greatly.
Summer Disco
Last night the PTA held its annual Summer Disco. All the children who attended dances the night away before ending the night with a water fight! We hope everyone had a joyous time. We also want to thank the PTA for all their fundraising efforts this year and all the hard work they’ve gone to – so thank you!! and we look forward to more next year!
Y6 Leavers Mass
A lovely service was held by Father Paul at Church today to celebrate the Y6s before they leave for secondary school. We looked back on their time at Priory and celebrated everything they have achieved.
Summer Fair
The Priory Catholic Academy PTA held their annual Summer Fair today with great success. Thank you to everyone for your continued support even during a heat wave!!
Seussical: The Musical
An amazing well done and congratulations goes to our Y5/6 classes for their summer production of their version of Seussical: The Musical. The entire cast put on a great show in front of all the parents at Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy last night!!

The Priory put in a brilliant performance at District Sports, securing 3rd place out of 9 small schools in our district- an excellent result! 🥉
Our pupils were absolutely amazing, displaying outstanding sportsmanship, determination, and team spirit throughout the afternoon. It was a fun, energetic event full of encouragement and effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of how everyone performed. Well done to all involved—you did The Priory proud!
