Merry Christmas

From everyone at the Priory we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Monday 8th January 2024.

Last Day of Advent Term

We ended the Advent term with Mass at Church where we opened the last few doors of our Advent calendar. We then finished the afternoon off with our annual Sing for Santa show.
We’ve had a wonderful term and also want to mention the two amazing performances of the Nativity by EYFS and Y1/2. All the children who took part were a credit to our school and put on performances to remember and cherish by us all. Well done KS1 for all your hard work.
This last week we’ve also had Y1/2 and Y4 go singing to our local care homes and Y5 visit the food bank to give back to those within our community.

Christmas Fair

A successful Christmas Fair was attended by all on Friday at The Priory. Well done to Walsingham class for supporting the PTA in running the event.

Christmas Crafts with Father Paul

Y6 welcomed Father Paul into class this morning to make Christmas crafts during this season of Advent. We made Angels and Christingles!!

Y6 DAaRT Graduation

Congratulations to Y6 who have completed their DAaRT course with Officer Harper and graduated today. You’ve all worked so hard over these last 10 weeks.

St Ralph Sherwin Feast Day

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the feast of St Ralph Sherwin on Friday with each class completing an activity which was then shared at Mass in the afternoon.

Snow White Panto

Today we had the Snow White Panto in school from M&M productions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance!!

Maths Week

A huge well done to all our children who took part in Maths Week!! You all worked hard completing Tinestable rockstars or playing Maths related games.
Our winning class was Walsingham.
Then we had one winner from each class!!

Happy Half Term

Happy Half Term to everyone at the Priory!!

We wish everyone a restful break and we’ll see you all back to school on Monday 6th November.

Y6 Jorvik Visit

Y6 visited Jorvik today to explore life as a Viking linking to our history topic. They were a credit to the school. Well done!
