Sports Day
Sports Day 2026 It was touch and go with the weather, but what a fabulous day we all had!
KS2 started the day brilliantly, earning lots of points in the carousel activities and treating us to some very exciting races with some incredibly close finishes. Congratulations to Saint John Houghton House, who finished 1st overall in the KS2 Sports Day competition! 
EYFS and KS1 rounded off the day perfectly, showing fantastic sportsmanship, determination and enthusiasm throughout all of their events. Well done to every child who took part, but a special mention must go to our Reception children for completing their very first Sports Day – you were amazing!

A huge thank you to our Year 6 pupils for helping to run the carousel activities and for being such wonderful role models, encouraging and cheering on the younger children throughout the day.
Thank you also to all of our parents and families for attending and supporting the children. It was wonderful to see so many people there, and it really highlighted what a fantastic school community we have.
