60th Anniversary

60 years of the Priory Catholic!!
This last week and during September, we’ve busily been preparing to celebrate our schools 60th birthday which culminated in our whole school Mass this afternoon.
All the children have represented the school in an impeccable manner, produced some fabulous work and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed welcoming everyone within our community (past, present and future) into the Priory to help us celebrate.
Official photos will be shared in the next few days.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support!

First day back

We hope everyone enjoyed their first day back at school and is looking forward to the new academic year!!

Happy Summer

From everyone at the Priory we wish you all a lovely Summer and we’ll see you back at school in September!!

Thank you
The Priory Team.

Y6 Leavers

Yesterday, we said a sad farewell to our Y6s as they move onto Secondary. They celebrated their time at the Priory this week with their leavers Mass, a trip to Wheelgate and their leavers assembly yesterday.

From everyone at the Priory, we wish them all the luck as they move on!

We had a lovely end of term Mass today celebrating the achievements of the last year before a well rested break for the Summer! Thank you to everyone for all your support and work across the year.

Goodbye Miss Taylor

Thank you and congratulations to Miss Taylor who left us today after her year of training alongside Mrs Grimes and Y2. We wish you luck in your new job.

Y5/6 play

On Tuesday, Y5/6 put on a briliant end of year play – Murder is Never Pleasant at St John. With an audience of over 200 people, we cannot congratulate the children enough for their performance. Thank you to everyone involved!!

DT exhibit

This week Mrs Williams and Mrs Smith took a selection of children from Y1, Y5 and Y6 to Pride Park to share the moving vehicles the children have made in DT. The event was a great success and well done to everyone involved.
